What are modular apartments?

Modular apartments are homes built in a factory, then shipped to the building site and assembled. They have advantages over traditional housing construction because they can be cheaper, faster to build, better for the environment, and more efficient on materials.

Are there any disadvantages?

Modular apartments are not suitable for all situations – they may be too expensive or impractical in certain locations where traditional construction is already available. In some cases it can also take longer than expected to complete.
